Ask a colleague to describe their three fore- most needs to be able to carry out their workday in a comfortable manner. Take your colleague’s needs into account, such as by asking: “Is there anything I can do to make things easier for you today?” 

Write down three concrete behaviors that illustrate how a colleague makes a positive contribution to the work group. Bring up these examples next time you collaborate. 

Create security in your team by asking someone to offer constructive criticism. Listen to what they have to say. Then thank them for their input and confirm that you have taken note of it.
